Senior Software Engineer

We’re looking for an engineer to join our team, someone that can understand complex systems, manage a workload independently, deliver high quality solutions and participate as part of a distributed team. You’ll join a first-in-class team of engineers, designers and product managers that quickly deliver highly scalable compelling features to Tripadvisor’s 400+ million monthly visitors using an array of cutting-edge technologies.

The role is 50 / 50 backend and frontend

The role can be remote, but you have to be in the same country

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you’ll help us :

What you will do :

• Lead the development of large scale projects in support of our products across all layers of the stack.
• Build our front-ends in Typescript, React / Vue and GraphQL.
• Build our microservices in Java, Kotlin and NodeJS.
• CI / CD to proprietary and cloud data centers
• Operate, monitor and support our capabilities using Grafana, Prometheus
• Work alongside product managers, UX designers and content creators to optimize the customer experience
• Continuously improve via rigorous experimentation using our home-grown platform
