Network Engineer

Working method : Hybrid (2 days / week at the office)

We are looking for a Network Engineer  to join our partner team and ensure a secure, resilient and compliant production environment. The role focuses on firewall rule control and recertification , guaranteeing that network flows respect security policies and compliance standards.

Responsibilities :

Review newly implemented firewall rules for monthly compliance.

Monitor and report on deviations, producing monthly dashboards.

Collaborate with business security teams, production security, and Risk Management.

Maintain and operate filtering solutions (firewalls, WAF, Proxy, DDoS).

Document and formalize operational procedures.

Verify compliance of technical / application flows and escalate non-compliance.

Organize firewall review and recertification meetings, presenting results to the IT Security Committee.

Requirements

Must-Have :

Proven experience in network security operations and firewall rule management .

Strong knowledge of firewall solutions (e.g., Check Point, Fortinet, Palo Alto) and filtering technologies (WAF, Proxy, DDoS).

Hands-on experience with compliance and policy management tools (e.g., Tufin, DSO).

Solid understanding of network protocols and security policy enforcement.

Ability to produce dashboards, reporting, and compliance tracking .

Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with security and infrastructure teams.

Experience in writing and maintaining operational security procedures .

• Working proficiency in French.

Fluency in English (spoken and written).

Nice-to-Have :

Knowledge of identity management, vulnerability management, and data protection .

Experience in financial services IT security .

Familiarity with risk management frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls).
