The Health Economics, Market Access, and Reimbursement Manager is a key member of the Extended Market Access team, responsible for leading and executing the local pricing and market access strategy for the allocated Therapeutic Areas and products. The role is focused on ensuring market access readiness and maximizing opportunities across the lifecycle.
- Key Responsibilities :
- Optimize Market Access readiness, create the optimal access and pricing strategy for assets in scope;
- Understand the disease and payer landscape and assess HTA and P&R potential and scenarios;
- Engage in cross-functional teams to shape the product’s strategy and maximize access opportunities, including RWE;
- Fully responsible for P&R in all financial planning cycles;
- Partner with EMEA and Global stakeholders to ensure a thorough understanding of local processes and lead business case development for pricing approvals;
- Have a thorough understanding of pricing and market access processes in key European countries, as well as clinical trials design, health economics, statistics, evidence generation;
- Develop budget impact and other economic models to support the product’s value package;
- Collaborate with the EVTs and CVTs to ensure launch readiness and identify early any potential roadblocks for the pipeline;
- Collaborate with Trade Strategy & Operations teams to ensure national and local access to treatments;
- Educate and support any other team, including field teams, on P&R related topics;
- Create local key value messages for various stakeholders and participate in meetings and negotiations with external bodies;
- Develop new initiatives and projects that will maximize access across the lifecycle;
Demonstrate strategic thinking, sense of urgency, flexibility, and analytical skills.
Qualifications :5 years experience in Pricing and Market Access roles in the life sciences sector;Minimum bachelor’s degree, advanced degree preferred;Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences;Ability to work with big data and generate insights;Analytical, agile, with the ability to zoom in and out and develop thorough scenario planning;Creative problem solver, finding opportunities in every situation and comfortable with uncertainty;Fluent in English, strong commercial acumen.
