DP World, the global logistics leader that currently handles more than 10% of world trade, is seeking a motivated and eager to learn Junior Procurement Coordinator to join the growing Shared Service Center team in Bucharest, Romania .

Your responsibilities :

  • Processing procurement requests and transforming them into orders, according to company policies and procedures.
  • Providing support in integrating and maintaining suppliers, ensuring information accuracy in the procurement system.
  • Configuring and inputting data into SAP / Oracle, including creating requests for new suppliers and materials.
  • Collaborating with the finance team to manage financial documents and resolve payment discrepancies.
  • Verifying and reconciling supplier invoices with purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in coding and pricing.
  • Handling inquiries and issues related to procurement, directing them to relevant parties when needed.
  • Maintaining records, documents, and contracts in accordance with record-keeping policies.

Your profile :

  • Higher Education studies in Finance & Accounting, Public Administration or related fields.
  • Maximum 2 years of previous work experience with a basic understanding of procurement procedures, materials management, and / or accounting principles.
  • Proficient in working with the Microsoft Office suite, procurement software, and SAP.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Good project management abilities with a proven record of handling multifaceted tasks successfully.
  • Attentive to customer needs and genuinely invested in establishing and maintaining excellent customer relationships.
  • Excellent team player, actively contributing to group efforts, supporting colleagues, and maintaining open communication to achieve shared goals.
