Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your leadership and technical expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.

You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the vision of the System Design Métier, driving continuous improvement in performance and productivity. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, project management, HR), oversee team development and project execution, and foster a culture of excellence and innovation.

You’ll specifically take care of defining and implementing the System Design engineering vision, but also building and motivating a high-performing team.

We’ll look to you for :

• Defining and implementing the System Design engineering vision, including team profiles, skills, and discipline evolution
• Setting clear team goals, delegating tasks, and establishing deadlines
• Providing support for project and program execution
• Promoting Alstom values and fostering a positive team culture
• Motivating, evaluating, and developing team members through training and performance management
• Recognizing high performance and rewarding accomplishments
• Developing World Class Engineering (WCE) Experts
• Ensuring the deployment and improvement of processes, methods, and tools
• Collaborating with the Reference Library Manager to maintain and enhance the Reference Library
• Fostering the collection and sharing of lessons learned (REX) from project / program execution
• Reviewing workload forecasts and ensuring adequate staffing for projects, bids, and programs
• Participating in tender design and documentation reviews
• Committing to Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) objectives related to the System Design Métier
