The Financial Controller role is part of the Finance Local team and it’s its purpose is to provide technical financial expertise in developing, monitoring and controlling financial policies and procedures in the country, to implement budgeting, reporting and controlling processes to mitigate legal, business and financial risk and to be an integral part of the country finance team and a catalyst for cooperation among stakeholders.
Responsibilities :
- Responsibilities are within the Finance Function as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines.
- Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services. Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions. Works independently, receives minimal guidance.
- Coordinates the annual budgeting process &periodical forecasts.
- Compiles and reviews the budgets for corporate departments, taking into consideration actual performance, previous expenditures, and estimated expenses and income.
- Group Reporting - monthly monitoring actual vs budget figures in adherence with corporate standards. Maintains accurate spending records and establishes measures for budgetary control.
- Prepares and distributes periodic financial statements for users other than those directly employed by the organization.
- Ensures all reports and disclosures comply with applicable government regulations, professional standards and organization policies.
- Prepares consolidation journal entries, eliminates intercompany transactions on a timely and accurate basis for inclusion in internal and external financial statements
- Designs, develops and implements the organization's financial control systems.
- Provides accurate and timely reporting and financial insights that help identify and mitigate risks (financial, compliance, cash flow)
- Proactive in proposing solutions to increase efficiency (automation of financial processes, improve of financial and commercial reports)
- Monitor, analyze, evaluate and validate results of company’s commercial activity and calculate functional and individual KPIs.
Requirements
Accounting or Economics University Degree
5+ years of experience as Financial Controller or Snr Financial AnalystGood IFRS knowledgeSAP experience is a plusExperience in international, multicultural environment; preferably in an IT services companyEnglish - written / spoken at a good levelVery good analytical and communication skillsVery good teamwork skills.Type of collaboration : Full Time / Undetermined
