About the Client
We are supporting the European Commission in its mission to deliver high-impact digital transformation through efficient and compliant public procurement. As part of this effort, we are looking for a Public Procurement Expert to join a dynamic team driving procurement excellence across the EU institutions, agencies, and bodies (EUIs).
Scope of the Role
You will contribute to the design, execution, and optimization of public tender processes, helping European institutions adopt digital and strategic sourcing best practices.
You will not be involved in procedures related to procuring back-office services of the same nature as those you provide.
Main Responsibilities
- Guide stakeholders through the entire public procurement lifecycle
- Help define the right procurement approach based on client needs
- Draft and review tender specifications and related documentation
- Liaise with DIGIT and other stakeholders to publish competitions
- Lead Q&A sessions during the tender phase
- Support evaluation phases, reporting and documentation
- Propose improvements and implement lessons learned
- Contribute to the digital transformation of procurement processes
- Support the design of procurement strategies and tools catalogues
Your Profile
We’re looking for a consultant who brings :
6+ years of experience in EU public procurement3+ years of experience in Digital Transformation projects related to public procurement3+ years of experience in knowledge sharing (seminars, trainings, or publications)At least one certification in public procurement (e.g., EIPA or equivalent)Strong drafting, reporting, and stakeholder communication skillsIn-depth knowledge of EU procurement legal and regulatory frameworksRequired Documents for Application
