As a Hardware Design Engineer , you will be working in PCB schematic and layout design, maintenance of hardware designs and in analyzing and prototyping new technologies. In your new role you will :
- Define hardware solutions by starting from requirements level and validate hardware concept by analog simulations ( SPICE)
- Implementing schematic design while focusing on highlighting Infineon products and focusing on manufacturability of the design
- Perform PCB layout by selecting the right fit PCB / PCBA technology, routing optimization and by addressing signal integrity concerns, EMI effects and power dissipation
- Perform hardware bring-up and validation for your designed hardware and provide test reports
- Provide documentation collaterals as user manuals or application notes
- Work closely in a multi-disciplinary and cross-site team

A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or related field5+ years of relevant working experience in automotive hardware developmentApplication experience on automotive systems such as zone controllers or power distribution unitsExpertise in working with PCB CAD software as Altium Designer and good understanding of the PCB / PCBA production processesExperience in manual and automatic handling of electronic measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, probes, multimeters, electronic loads, power supplies etc.)Experience in 3D Mechanical design & processing is a plusExcellent written and spoken English communication skillsBenefits
