Job Description
As a Power Systems Engineer – Frequency Control, you will :
- Design, develop, and implement Linear Frequency Control (LFC) strategies to ensure grid stability and reliability.
- Analyze real-time power system dynamics and engineer control systems to mitigate frequency deviations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control solutions into current grid operations and SCADA environments.
- Monitor, evaluate, and optimize LFC performance, including simulation and system behavior modeling.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and industry standards regarding frequency control.
What You Bring to the Table :
Minimum of 3+ years of experience working with LFC systems or similar frequency regulation / control frameworks in power grids.Strong knowledge of power system dynamics, control systems, and real-time operational behavior.Hands-on experience in simulations and predictive modeling to evaluate and enhance grid reliability.Understanding of industry regulations and grid codes related to frequency control.You Should Possess the Ability To :
Implement and fine-tune grid frequency control strategies for real-world operating environments.Collaborate across operations, planning, and IT / OT teams to embed LFC logic into live systems.Conduct technical analysis and report performance metrics for continuous improvement.Train operations personnel on LFC systems, protocols, and performance expectations.What We Bring to the Table :
