DfT Automation / CAD Engineer

As part of the Corporate R&D Design systems technology department we are responsible for the evaluation, acquisition, development, integration and support of design tools and methodologies towards the world wide BU development teams. We are looking for a senior DfT Automation / CAD engineer and are offering a position in our design center in Bucharest to :

• Collaborate with key stakeholders (DfT, Design, Test Engineers) to identify solutions that enhance user experience and productivity.
• Engage with the vendors to bring in and socialize the newest DfT solutions to the users (evaluation, improvement, deployment and training).
• Lead initiatives impacting the bottom line across business units : test cost improvement, quality improvement and / or productivity improvement. Co-own the development of automation tools with the Development Team.Evaluate newest tools with DfT Engineers in the Business Units.
• Provide expert-level support to DfT Engineers, with a focus on their usage of the Siemens Tessent tools.
• Bachelor Degree in Electronics.
• At least 5 years of semiconductor engineer (DfT, Design prefered).
• Hands-on experience with DfT tools - ideally Siemens Tessent.
• Having Digital Design expertise with Synopsys Fusion Compiler is a plus.
• Strong skills in the development of automation scripts and automation frameworks.

• Excellent communication skillsInter-personal to facilitate the interactions and lead the discussion to clear resolution.Strong presentation skills with a strategic mindset to influence stakeholders and build momentum for new initiatives.
