S.p.A. was founded in Parma in 1910 by Gino Pizzarotti, subsequently transformed in 1945 into a limited liability company by Pietro Pizzarotti, father of the current Chairman Paolo Pizzarotti, and became a joint-stock company in 1961 with a share capital of 250 million euros. IMPRESA PIZZAROTTI & C. S.p.A., a general construction company, with construction sites in Italy and abroad, is looking for a Project Control Manager Area Romania, to be included in the framework of ongoing and upcoming infrastructure projects, supporting the Area Country Manager and the Project Directors, in connection with the Corporate Project Control Director.
Following the timelines / priorities of the projects’ production process the role includes, but is not limited to, the following activities :
In case of already operational projects directly managed :
- Coordinate the activities of the Projects’ Project Controllers present in the area of responsibility.
In case of the start-up of projects directly managed :
Perform activities pertaining to the Project Budget (bid reordering, reviewing full life forecasts and issuing annual economic forecasts);Coordinate the Project Control Department Team (Quantity Survey - project accounting, Planning and Cost Control);Verify the works carried out by collecting the measurements prepared by the concerned Departments, update the Budget considering the quantities and monitor the incidences of the main resources employed on site;Prepare the monthly Cost Control report using the Earned value methodology according to the project WBS, analyzing the deviations showed in the effectiveness and efficiency controls, draft the corporate reports related to the performance management;Develop the work program according to the project WBS and monitor the work progress, analyzing the deviations during the project’s life cycle.In case of Projects in joint venture not directly managed :
Participate in the joint venture technical tables to draft financial and economical project forecasts and transpose them into standard company formats and applications;Analyze the joint venture’s economic reports, compared with the respective forecast data and transpose them into standard company formats and applications;Participate in the Technical / Administrative Committees convened on Project Control topics, accompanying the designated membersActively participate in internal performance evaluationsRequisiti
Position requirements :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in civil or operations management engineering;Prior multi-year experience as Project Control / Cost Control Manager, preferably in infrastructure projects;Knowledge of planning and project control techniques for large project, with particular reference to the Earned Value technique;Excellent knowledge of Office, particularly Excel;Fluent in English;Availability to travel and to relocate;Knowledge of STR Vision CPM, knowledge of Romanian language and PMP / IPMA certification will be considered as preferentialThe following soft skills complete the candidate profile :
