As an Associate Project Procurement Lead based in the DACH & BENELUX region, you will be part of a dynamic, international team supporting the execution of procurement activities across a variety of customer projects. Manage proposal input, supplier selection, project closeout. Achieve results, reduce risks, ensure collaboration

You’ll play a key role in delivering procurement excellence by developing sourcing strategies, negotiating commercial terms, evaluating supplier performance, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services. Your contribution will directly impact project success and customer satisfaction!

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be :

  • Supporting the achievement of regional procurement objectives such as supplier risk management, savings, and PO / contract placement;
  • Leading key procurement activities in coordination with the Project Procurement Lead for DACH & BENELUX;
  • Collaborating closely with Sales and Project teams to define sourcing strategies and mitigate execution risks;
  • Drafting and negotiating supplier contracts and leading buy-out content;
  • Supervising supplier performance and addressing issues related to delivery or compliance;
  • Engaging with Emerson’s global supply chain teams to address market trends and challenges;
  • Ensuring alignment with Emerson tools, systems, procedures, and ethics policies throughout all procurement activities.

You are a proactive procurement professional with a strong grasp of sourcing, collaborator management, and supplier engagement. You excel in a collaborative, fast-paced, and international project environment, and bring both critical thinking and operational focus to the table! You consistently seek to improve processes and outcomes while building strong business relationships across functions.

For This Role, You Will Need :

  • A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Procurement, Supply Chain, Commerce, or Engineering;
  • At least years of confirmed experience in procurement—ideally within a project-based, international setting;
  • Proven experience working with cross-functional teams in a supply chain environment;
  • Strong customer management, communication, and negotiation skills;
  • Proficiency in English and German ; other European languages are considered a plus;
  • Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart :

  • Experience working within a matrixed, international organization;
  • Knowledge of Incoterms and international trade compliance;
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP;
  • Prior involvement in large-scale capital or automation projects;
  • A solution-focused, analytical approach.
