Your role

As a  Health and Safety Specialist you are responsible for respects and applies the applicable national legal provisions in force, internal policies and procedures regarding occupational health and safety, emergency situations and environmental protection

Job scope

The purpose of the activity is to control the way in which the legislative regulations in force and the rules of security, employee health protection and emergency situations are applied; the elaboration of own instructions in this regard as well as the provision of general and individual training upon employment and periodicity of factory employees.

Main Responsibilities and related activities

• Knows, respects and applies the applicable national legal provisions in force, internal policies and procedures regarding occupational health and safety, emergency situations and environmental protection;
• Performs "General introductory training" of employees in the fields of occupational health and safety and emergency situations;
• Prepares the necessary documents in the fields of SSM and emergency situations;
• Collaboration with all departments on the SSM / SU line;
• Organizes periodic CSSM meetings;
• Collaboration with the Medical Check provider;
• Prepares and submits mandatory reports to the authorities (ITM / ISU);
• Identify hazards and assess risks for each component of the work system and the development of a prevention and protection plan and instructions, depending on the activities carried out.
• Investigates the causes of the events, draw up the research file and ensure communication with the local authorities; initiates, verifies and / or recommends preventive and corrective actions for reported incidents.
• Performs inspections and checks with the frequency required by the legal requirements and / or the documents in the system.
• Ensures that the emergency plans are adapted to the identified and analyzed dangers; has the initiative in emergency situations and response capacity.
