Cloud Backup Specialist (AWS / Azure)

Location : Remote (EU + Serbia)

Start Date : Immediate

Contract Duration : 6 months (extension possible)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Cloud Backup Specialist to support our clients CyberVault backup and recovery environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with native backup solutions in AWS or Azure, strong scripting skills, and the ability to collaborate with infrastructure and DevOps teams in a fully remote setting. Prior experience with Rubrik, Dell Networker, CyberSense, or NetApp is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor CyberVault-related backups in both Azure and AWS environments

Work with client teams to investigate and resolve backup failures, ensuring SLA compliance

Conduct monthly recovery tests from CyberVault backups within isolated environments

Contribute to broader CyberVault recovery testing efforts, including on-premise solutions

Provide regular performance reports and management information on backup efficiency

Support infrastructure automation and testing using Terraform and Python

Collaborate using Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and GitHub

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience with native backup solutions in AWS or Azure (mandatory)

Familiarity with cloud-native backup tools and architectures

Proficient in scripting with Python and using infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform

Comfortable working in Agile environments using Jira, Confluence, and GitHub

Strong troubleshooting skills and experience conducting backup / recovery tests

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with Rubrik or Dell Networker backup solutions

Familiarity with CyberSense or Dell CRM

Background in NetApp storage solutions
