Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist

Your new role and environment.

We are looking for a hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist with strong technical expertise, particularly in writing complex SQL queries and working with data extensions, journeys, and automation. This role will be part of a dedicated IT development team responsible for the Salesforce Core environment (Service Cloud and Order Management System) supporting the well-known Dutch retail brands Gall & Gall and Etos.

You’ll play a key role in expanding our capabilities within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, working closely with the email marketing teams at both brands to bring personalized, data-driven campaigns to life.

We're looking for someone who not only knows Marketing Cloud inside out, but is also eager to grow and broaden their expertise within the wider Salesforce ecosystem (including Service Cloud and OMS). Collaboration, curiosity, and technical excellence are key.

Key responsibilities of your role.

• Develop and maintain advanced Marketing Cloud solutions, including complex SQL queries, AMPScript logic, data extensions, automations, and multi-step customer journeys using Journey Builder and Automation Studio.
• Ensure seamless data integration and synchronization between Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Core systems (Service Cloud and OMS) and other systems, working with APIs, SFTP, and custom data flows to support personalized, real-time communications.
• Act as the technical bridge between marketing and IT, translating campaign requirements into scalable, performant solutions while contributing to architecture, best practices, and continuous improvement of the Marketing Cloud environment.
