System Engineer with DNS

Job Description

• Operation and further development of a DNS and mail gateway environment with a volume of approx. 1000 mails per minute.
• The area of responsibility includes the operation (including construction, implementation, support, maintenance, care) and the design of highly critical and highly complex and individual Securemail and mail gateways, as well as DNS solutions.
• This also includes the analysis of the existing environment with the development of possible approaches to improve it : extensive and general knowledge of signing, decryption, encryption, SMTP, certificates, and LDAP is required.
• Furthermore, experience with DNS, DNSSEC, and general firewall rules is required.
• Creating scripts to automate tasks in the area of DNS / mail, as well as improving existing ones and troubleshooting them.
• Serious software errors must be diagnosed in the 1st and 2nd level support and, if necessary, fixed with the supplier.
