Construction Project Director, Romania

Linum Consult’s client is an international design and build main contractor, specialising in large commercial and industrial buildings. They are currently seeking a Construction Project Director to be responsible for all aspects of planning and executing construction projects in Romania.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing the main contractors, sub-contractors, designers and cost consultancies.
• Leading the project management team to ensure that the project cycle is completed and meets the agreed standards and objectives
• Creating an organisation structure to optimise the most efficient use of resources
• Preparing the budget for your department, and monitoring the financial performance of the project; rectifying any problems that arise
• Carrying out regular site inspections to ensure that all works are carried out to high standards, deadlines and budgets.
• Recommending improvements to departmental policies and procedures
