We’re looking for a Senior Technical Operations Engineer to support OCI’s sovereign realms in the EU. What you’ll do

Support OCI’s sovereign realms. You’ll be part of a dynamic team with a broad knowledge of how Oracle’s cloud platform works. You’ll partner with customer support, service owners, and engineering teams around the globe to ensure high-quality service for customers across the EU. Note - this role is not a Monday to Friday core hours role – it will involve working a 24 / 7 shift rotation, including nights, weekends and public holidays. • Act as an internal point of contact for one or more sovereign realm(s)
• Operate and perform maintenance for over 250 OCI services
• Monitor auto-cut alerts and troubleshoot through the use of runbooks
• Complete change requests to enable new functionality and maintain realm compliance
• Ensure timely resolution of incidents, service requests, and change requests
• Collaborate with global service and engineering teams
• Apply and improve incident and problem management processes to resolve major incidents
• Share knowledge and mentor other team members
• Suggest and document process improvements

What we’ll offer you

Shift Format :

This role is not a Monday to Friday core hours role. This will involve working a 24 / 7 shift rotation, including nights, weekends and public holidays.

The role involves working 5 days a week (40 hours), including one weekend day per shift. You will be assigned to a shift rotas of either (1) Sunday to Thursday or (2) Tuesday to Saturday. There are three rotating shifts – early, late and night.

On-call or overtime is not generally expected in this role, but you may be required to have on-call or overtime duties occasionally, based on business needs.
