Software Engineer EDI

Descrierea postuluiAnalyse the requirements and identified key areas to be completed Identify and propose process / service / role design improvements geared towards simplification and service level enhancement Provide technical analysis and effort estimations Provide timely technical support for issue resolution including UAT and Post Go-Live support. Work with end users and other support teams and the vendor if required Closely collaborate with BTS, Enterprise Architecture or external vendors Daily monitor for running pipelines ensuring correctness of the execution and no business disruption Raise and investigate Incidents in IT Service Portal Communicate timely on the project progress related to developments in assigned area; manage the processes of requests, approval, specifications, development, documentation and unit testing; coordinate between on-site and off-site team related to processes in assigned area; coordinates IT-related issue with global IT and other teams Drive the development of relationships with customers to understand their needs and priorities, by collecting input from customers and stakeholders Communicate timely on the project progress related to developments in assigned area; manage the processes of requests, approval, specifications, development, documentation and unit testing; coordinate between on-site and off-site team related to processes in assigned area; coordinates IT-related issue with global IT and other teams Drive the development of relationships with customers to understand their needs and priorities, by collecting input from customers and stakeholders Experience in Information Technology, preferably in international corporations Experience with IBM B2B Sterling Integrator Experience using SAP, GUI, or S4 Possessed firm knowledge in the Order-to-cash process Amenable to work-shifting schedule Working knowledge of Sales Order, Delivery and Invoice process Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 technologies, especially MS Excel Working knowledge in data integration and XML file and conversion University / college degree or equivalent work experience on computer sciences Understanding on the Microsoft Technology Stack. Ability to implement technical solutions using modern paradigms Amenable to work-shifting schedule Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 technologies, especially MS Excel Working knowledge in data integration and XML file and conversion Monitor EDI invoices for all Business : Track sending and status of acceptance or error from our customers, identify errors of invoices and conduct analysis of root cause Proactively partner with the A / R, Billing and CS Team to resolve the issues of the invoice, edit IDOC's with the corrected information and assure the resending and acceptance of the invoice to the customer Good conceptual knowledge and hands-on experience on agile software delivery methodologies Strong analytical skills Ability to work in a highly dynamic and changing environment. Knowledge of software design and testing methodology Fluent written and spoken English Hand-on experience implementing solutions for EDI (Sterling / Gentran)

What this position is about - Purpose :
The position exists to perform development, solution rollouts and support for Markets & Regions applications and works under the guidance of senior Software engineers & Team Leads to maintain and configure EDI.
The scope includes using software engineering concepts to architect, design, develop, maintain, test, and evaluate software solutions, and lead continuous delivery process improvement.
This person will collaborate closely with his / her peers, IT & business stakeholders to ensure that the development activities focused on business outcomes & customer satisfaction. He / she will work on the Agile ways of working currently implemented in JTI and will work on specific workstreams that support the specific for the business. This person will work according to the American timezone.
What will you do – Responsibilities :
Perform development, testing and deployment activities :
- Perform development activities related to projects / changes / incidents with clean and scalable code
- Support technical design, development, unit testing, and production deployment
- Design and document the solutions' developments
- Writes unit / integration tests, contributes to engineering wiki, and documents work
- Supports user testing during UAT phase and work on bug fixing
- Support Roll outs and deployments
