Cyber Security must be anchored in Business strategy and objectives. Requires curiosity and ability to grasp what drives the business, to be able to express Cyber Security requirements in a format that is relevant to business stakeholders.

It is key to understand the Manufacturing environment, and how that differs from traditional office IT solutions. It is crucial to be able to connect with key stakeholders, such as industrial- and automation engineers, machine builders, and others building and supporting the Operational Technology, Industrial Control Systems, etc.

As a Cyber Security Architect – Manufacturing & Product, you will :

  • Establish and improve security architecture concepts and

design.

  • Support projects with Cyber Security Architecture

    • perspectives, requirements, solutions.

  • Reviews of current and future solutions from a Cyber

    • Security perspective.

  • Primarily support within Manufacturing- and Product

    • related projects and solutions.

  • Contribute to an adequate Cyber Security posture by publishing steering documents and offer guidance to those documents in business projects.

    • To excel in this role, you should have :

    Functional Competencies

  • Communicative in (at least) English, as collaboration with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization is key.

    • Personal Characteristics Enabling Success

  • Ability to dive into the details, without losing track of the goal on the horizon, assuring efforts are staying on course.
  • Ability to take the audience into account, communicating in their terms, translating complex cyber security topics into something relatable, tangible to them.

    • Education

  • Bachelor's in cyber security, Computer Science, or something similar, engineering related.
  • Advanced certifications like CISSP, CISM is a differentiator.

    • Previous Experience

  • Background in Cyber Security is mandatory.
  • Experience from working with Operational Technology (OT), or directly working with those who do, is necessary.
  • Experience with standards, such as, ISO21434, IEC62443, NIST CSF and similar is an advantage.
  • Informal leadership positions are highly relevant, such as an architecture role.
  • Previous experience from product engineering projects and / or working in global companies are considered an advantage.

  • As an architect, you are not only changing technology, but the environment it operates in, including people and processes. Past history of achieving change in organizations, behavior, people and processes, is a knock-out factor in the selection process.
  • Must be able to travel globally for workshops and Gemba walk.
