A Snapshot of Your Day :
You are responsible for the mechanical design of HV GIS substations, according to customer requirements, prepare the technical documentation and offer support / technical clarification to all the stakeholders involved.
How you will make an Impact :
- Development of assemblies and parts from prototype to series production,
- Independent solution finding as well as timely escalation to project management in case of problems during development.
- Tolerance analysis
- Responsibility and controlling for product costs, time schedule, technique, product and process quality
- Analysis and evaluation of project related risks, including elaboration of risk minimizing and usage of opportunities in working area
- Collaboration and coordination with the stakeholders of the projects
- Actively working for process and interface optimization
- Willingness for international business trips, especially for training and collaboration with German team in Berlin.
What you Bring :
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, civil engineering or mechanical simulation, Master’s degree preferred2 years’ experience with a focus on engineering of high voltage switchgear and substationsKnowledge of high voltage products, systems, and electrical networkKnowledge of international technical standards, IEC, IEEE, EN, Eurocode, ESTI, seismic standardsWork experience with 3D CAD and CAE tools (Creo, Creo live, Agile)Proven record of successful engineering projectsBusiness fluent communication in EnglishIntercultural experience
