Lead Cloud Edge Engineer

Location :

Based in Romania working European time zones, this role will be remote with expensed travel to customer sites within Europe where necessary.

The opportunity :

As the Lead Cloud Edge Engineer, you will play a key role in automating the deployment and management of cloud infrastructure. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and implementing solutions that enhance our cloud offerings. You will actively participate in troubleshooting complex issues and ensuring the smooth operation of cloud services. This position is ideal for someone passionate about leveraging their skills to influence and drive innovation within cloud technology. A requirement of this role is to have a passport issued from an European Union country.

Requirements

• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure platforms.
• Design and implement cloud solutions that meet customer needs for scalability, security, and reliability.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance and automate cloud operations.
• Deploy and configure various middleware services including databases and messaging systems.
• Evaluate and implement industry best practices in CloudOps / DevOps methodologies.
• Participate in ongoing cloud service operations and contribute to team efforts across regions.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production issues in a timely manner.
• Lead root cause analysis initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure application reliability and performance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in cloud service deployment and management.
