Position : Oracle Analytics Developer

Location : On-site, Bucharest, Romania (5 days per week at partner facilities)

Role Overview

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Oracle Analytics Developer to join an enterprise data and reporting team in Bucharest , working fully on-site at our partners facilities.

The selected professional will be responsible for the design, development, and optimization of Oracle Analytics solutions , including data modeling, dashboard creation, and performance tuning. The role requires a strong command of PL / SQL , ETL process management , and Oracle Analytics RPD (Repository Metadata) development, ensuring that business data is efficiently transformed into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

Write, debug, and optimize PL / SQL procedures, functions, and packages to support data transformation and analytical processing.

Manage end-to-end ETL processes , from data extraction in source systems to transformation and loading into destination environments.

Design, develop, and maintain data models in the Oracle Analytics RPD (Repository Metadata) layer.

Expose data from the RPD model within the Oracle Analytics platform , ensuring data accuracy, accessibility, and alignment with business needs.

Create and maintain reports, analyses, and interactive dashboards to support decision-making and performance monitoring.

Monitor and optimize the performance of reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions to ensure scalability and responsiveness.

Collaborate with business analysts and technical teams to understand functional requirements and translate them into effective analytical solutions.

Ensure data quality, consistency, and adherence to established standards across all analytics components.

Participate in troubleshooting, performance testing, and validation activities for deployed reporting solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 3 years of professional experience with Oracle Analytics or OBIEE in enterprise-scale environments.

Strong hands-on experience with PL / SQL programming , including performance tuning and optimization.

Proven experience managing ETL processes and ensuring end-to-end data integrity across data pipelines.

Solid understanding of RPD data modeling , metadata configuration, and Oracle Analytics architecture.

Experience creating dashboards, visualizations, and analytical reports tailored to business requirements.

Demonstrated ability to analyze business needs and translate them into efficient reporting and data visualization solutions.

Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

Fluency in Romanian and English (both written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science , Information Technology , Business Intelligence , or a related field.

Experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or similar ETL tools.

Familiarity with data warehouse concepts , star / snowflake schema modeling , and BI performance tuning .

Exposure to modern BI and visualization platforms such as Power BI , Tableau , or Looker .

Understanding of data governance and metadata management principles.

Engagement Model : Full-Time (CIM)

Location : On-site, Bucharest (5 days / week) presence at partner facilities is mandatory .
