Backend Infrastructure Support Engineer

You will work on a long-term project for the leading global investment bank with a strong and profitable private clients franchise.

Role description :   The Packaging team, part of the ‘End User Computing’ division, delivers automated solutions for packaging, signing, and deploying applications used across the company. Operating under an Agile model, the team is organized into squads, each responsible for specific technologies.

This role focuses on application support with a strong emphasis on L3 support, operations, and site reliability. The engineer will maintain automation systems, support infrastructure, and ensure operational excellence across environments. The tech stack of application includes Java microservices, DevOps pipelines, and scripting tools.

Responsibilities :

• Maintain and support backend systems and automation scripts for packaging and deployment.
• Perform operational support for Java-based applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and network issues across platforms.
• Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams to improve system reliability and performance.
• Develop and manage CI / CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including setup guides and release notes.
• Stay updated on best practices in system administration and monitoring.
