Principal Software Engineer

As part of this role, you will be working on a high-impact software project for a global leader in the scientific instrumentation and laboratory technologies sector — helping to build cloud-native solutions that power research and innovation in life sciences, chemistry, and healthcare.

Responsibilities :

• Work independently and as part of a team with deep focus on hard technical problems and explain the why, how, and what, that makes your solution technically sound, provide constructive feedback regarding best practices, performance, and maintainability
• Lead User Story refinement meetings to ensure stories are understood and decomposed adequately
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect, design, document and implement quality solutions
• Stay ahead of the curve with respect to new technologies and techniques with an eye towards continual

improvement of both the team’s skill set and the product goals

and effectively communicate this to the team

Experience required :

Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), microservices architecture, and RESTful API development.

Bachelor’s degree or higher (or equivalent) in science, computing engineering subjects.
