- Collaborates inside the company with members of the same team or other teams to accomplish the allocated tasks;
- Collaborates outside the company with client representatives, within the authority limits allocated by the direct manager;
Responsibilities
Coordinating the accounting tasks for one or more specific region / s and / or a one / more functional accounting process such as : Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Month End Close activities, Reporting activities, Asset Accounting (capitalization, depreciation, and amortization), Inventory Accounting, Intercompany, FX & Treasury Accounting, Payroll Accounting, Monthly tax calculation submission, and audit support.Responsible for reviewing and ensuring the completeness and correctness of balance sheets accounts (banks, fixed assets, client accounts, supplier accounts, tax accounts, etc.), journal entries initiated by GL accountants from the teamClosings and reconciliations for the managed accounts as per agreed deadlinesAnalyzing and following the accounting journals, requesting reclassifications and corrections to GL accountantsSupport GL accountants in requesting information from Client / Genpact other streams (supporting documentation for JEs, additional information, escalations, etc)Provide support to Team Leader and Operations Manager when needed, as per requestCoordinating the accounts reconciliation for the group companies according to procedures, when requiredPreparing the VAT declarations and the accounting journals when requiredOffering the vital reports and information for the internal and external controlsPreparing monthly performance reports according to the established contract indicators and any other additional requested reports to be reviewed by the clientPresenting in a timely manner any relevant information related to the processRespecting the activity schedule established with the customerApply country specific knowledge of taxation (VAT and CIT) & accounting rules applicable from country-to-country if applicableDaily Quality check of volume processed by teamManages the team for the creation, update and review exercises of the standard operating procedures to ensure approval as per the expected deadlines.Monitors and follow-up the training plans for the team members; completion on time and highlight potential risks for delays. Ensures the back up and cross training structures in the team.Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum qualifications
Full professional knowledge of French and English, min. B2Relevant work of experience in a multinational company as Financial Reporting AnalystRelevant domain experiencePreferred Qualifications
