Overall Purpose of the Job

As a Trainee Field Service Technician you will be responisble for assisting with Casing / Tubing operations involving various types & sizes of tubulars using a range of Expro equipment whilst under the instruction and supervision of an allocated Field Supervisor until proven to be competent in the tasks and / or discplines being undertaken.

Key Activities and Accountabilities

• Assist onshore / workshop operations in any Company location as required
• Assist with packing, unpacking, servicing & routine maintenance of Company casing equipment in line with maintenance procedures
• Assist with tubular operations where required including, but not limited to, drifting, removing thread protectors etc.,
• Operate basic manual, diesel, hydraulic & electrically powered casing equipment, rigging-up, connecting & disconnecting as required
• Assist with inspection & connecting (make-up) & disconnecting (break-out) of tubulars
• Align casing for make-up or break-out, including the correct, safe connection & disconnection of handling tools
• Inspect all workshop & offshore equipment, maintaining as detailedi n company procedures and carrying out any required repairs
• Meet all operations deadlines / schedules as required including : pre / post-job meetings, check-ins, flights / travel obligations, safety meetings, toolbox talks & shift configurations
• Actively participate in all learning & development programs,which may include travel
• Work in an Oil & Gas field environment (onshore or offshore)
