Title : Platform Engineer

Location Preference : Hybrid, Cluj; or Home Office, RO

We are seeking an enthusiastic, high energy Platform Engineer to join the team and help us build the next generation of NetProfiler and Flow Gateway products.

The Riverbed NetProfiler and Flow Gateway product family analyze millions of network flows every minute, saving the data in a highly optimized proprietary database and performing real-time analysis. Real-time analytics detect network operations and security anomalies to alert network administrators before customers are calling for help. With highly configurable dashboards and flexible traffic reporting capabilities, NetProfiler is a go-to network visibility tool for network managers at Fortune 500 companies around the world.

What you will do

• Design, build and maintain CI / CD pipelines using Jenkins
• Develop and maintain automation scripts in Python / Bash and, where applicable, Perl
• Manage, configure and troubleshoot systems based on Red Hat or RHEL-based distributions (. CentOS, AlmaLinux)
• Build and maintain RPM packages
• Create and maintain Docker images to support application deployment
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Packer, Ansible and Terraform
• Monitor system performance, availability and security
• Collaborate with development, QA to support application development
• Implement best practices in terms of security, infrastructure as code, automation and configuration management
