A Snapshot of Your Day
As the Project Engineering Manager at Siemens
Energy, you will lead and manage, in a project management capacity, a diverse
team of Engineering Resources across disciplines such as electrical, plant
layout, mechanical, civil, process, thermal, controls, and instrumentation, to
implement projects within the Energy Solution Portfolio.
After aligning the execution strategy within
the Project Management Team, including the General Project Manager and
Commercial Project Manager, you will be part of discussions with the Customer’s
Engineering Consultant and with your Team to clarify and refine the project
specifics.
Following this, you will lead the Engineering Team
and partners throughout all project execution phases, including but not limited
to a design and scope review, change management, design reviews, design works,
procurement, etc., ensuring detailed coordination between disciplines and full compliance
with the project requirements. In addition, you are responsible to hold
meetings with all team members to ensure strict aalignment to project scope,
schedule, and cost.
Occasionally it may be required to visit the
site and discuss with Site Management Team to ensure seamless transition from
design and procurement to construction and erection phases of the project.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Support
energy transformation initiatives by being involved in Engineering,
Procurement, and Construction (EPC) of Combined Cycle Power Plants,
Hydrogen generation, and hybrid solutions in a global environment. Additionally,
as the case may be, High Voltage Direct Current Station projects will be included in the projects' scope.
Ability
to manage the future of energy by interacting with external partners
(customers, consultants, authorities, suppliers) and internal
collaborators, primarily focusing on technical matters.
Lead
and integrate the Engineering Team, comprising diverse engineering fields
(e.g., electrical, controls & instrumentation, process, mechanical,
plant layout, etc.), is critical for building a cohesive team and pursuing
common objectives in bid or execution projects.
Successfully
handle engineering-related risks and opportunities and adhere to technical
contract execution and documentation requirements.
