The company is located in Iaşi county and from there distributes and trades agricultural inputs and commodities.

Since this year the company also became the distributor of the open field vegetable seeds of Enza Zaden, an independent leading breeding company of vegetable varieties with headquarters in the Netherlands. Enza Zaden employs over 1.500 people of 40 nationalities worldwide.

Vegetables seeds of Enza Zaden for the Romanian market are onion, melon, watermelon, cauliflower, carrot and red beet. To manage and sell the portfolio of Enza Zaden in Romania, AJ-Agro-Grup is looking to reinforce their team with a Sales Representative Open Field Vegetables.

Job description

Promote and sell the Enza vegetables seeds and contribute actively to market developments.

• Undertake visits and maintain contacts with existing and potential producers (growers and key customers in the vegetables sector).
• Conduct sales talks and provide product information.
• Negotiate prices, discount arrangements, etc. within the predetermined margins.
• Monitor and supervise the nursing of Enza varieties by young plant nurseries and advise where necessary.
• Intensively monitor the introduction of varieties put out and report on the findings.
• Follow market developments in the field and through professional journals.
• React and report on opportunities and treats and if necessary, provide feedback on this to the relevant R&D departments.
• Maintain and build relationships with agricultural advisers, representatives of plant growers, and study groups.
• Keep the list of addresses of (potential) customers in the work area up to date.
• Keep informed of (developments in) the Enza product portfolio.
• Contribute to the preparation of sales and marketing budgets for the work area.
• The Sales Representative works closely with the Regional Sales Manager of Enza Zaden and reports to the General Manager of AJ-Agro-Grup.
