About the position

This full-time position is based in Bucharest and will be responsible for all the day-to-day bookkeeping, processing and accounting for Romania activity. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience and be extra-motivated to go above and beyond to keep books in order and in time.

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Receivable : invoice generation, payment collection, record maintenance, customer inquiries, and resolving discrepancies.
• Manage Accounts Payable : invoice processing, vendor payments, record keeping, and resolving vendor queries.
• Reconcile bank statements.
• Process payroll and ensure timely salary payments.
• Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger and fixed assets.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and budget vs. actual analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Assist with quarterly financial statements.
• Handle day-to-day financial administration and provide ongoing assistance to other departments.
• Identify inefficiencies and develop strategies to automate and enhance accuracy, ensuring continuous improvement and seamless integration with other departments.
