Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced API Developer to join our cybersecurity team and contribute to the development and maintenance of our internal, cloud-hosted eFraud detection application . The selected candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining secure APIs and user interfaces, as well as ensuring the ongoing reliability and performance of the system in production environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement new API and GUI functionalities in alignment with cybersecurity and business requirements

Conduct end-to-end testing, define test scenarios, document defects, and deploy code into production

Monitor and maintain API and GUI operations, proactively preventing incidents and coordinating incident resolution when required

Manage application infrastructure including creation, sizing, patching, and decommissioning of VMs

Ensure proper documentation is maintained and kept up to date for all APIs and associated services

Participate in testing new services from the internal cloud platform to ensure compatibility and stability

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience in API development and production support

Strong programming skills in Java , with experience in Spring , Spring Boot , and REST APIs

Hands-on experience with Jenkins , GIT , CI / CD pipelines , and relational / non-relational databases (PostgreSQL & HBase)

Familiarity with Linux , RabbitMQ , and front-end technologies like React or Angular is a plus

Understanding of application lifecycle management, cloud-based deployments, and security patching practices

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical field

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to collaborate in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment

Excellent communication skills in English and working proficiency in French
