What you'll be doing

• Planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure
• Including networks, servers, and data centers, operate efficiently and securely to support the organization’s operations and future growth
• Ensuring all IT infrastructure components, including networks, servers, and storage systems, are operating efficiently through regular monitoring, performance tuning, and applying necessary updates or patches
• Developing and executing strategies to align IT infrastructure with business objectives, including forecasting future needs, planning for scalability, and integrating new technologies
• Implementing and managing security measures to protect the IT environment from threats, including setting up firewalls, managing access controls, and ensuring data encryption
• Developing and maintaining disaster recovery and business continuity plans to enable quick recovery from unexpected outages or data loss
• Managing and leading a team of IT professionals, including network administrators, systems engineers, and support staff, by setting goals, providing guidance, and fostering professional development
• Collaborating with external vendors to procure hardware, software, and services, including negotiating contracts, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with organizational standards
• Overseeing the IT infrastructure budget by making decisions on technology investments and managing ongoing operational costs
• Implementing monitoring solutions to track the performance and health of IT systems and optimizing configurations for improved performance and reliability
