Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join the Platform Engineering team of one of Europes largest asset managers. In this role, you will collaborate closely with feature teams, business stakeholders, and distributed DevOps teams to enhance the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of the clients microservices-based platforms. You will help bridge development and operations, drive process improvements, and ensure end-to-end supportability and automation of the engineering lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver scalable and maintainable DevOps features, resolving complex technical challenges across environments

Lead design and implementation of process improvements to accelerate development velocity

Conduct code and architecture reviews, ensuring alignment with quality and security standards

Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure components that meet functional and non-functional requirements

Investigate and resolve production incidents, defects, and technical queries across the SDLC

Provide accurate estimates for development tasks and identify potential risks or dependencies

Monitor team progress, report on milestones, and escalate blockers when needed

Advocate for and implement Agile best practices, participating in retrospectives and planning sessions

Drive task prioritization and support workload distribution across engineering teams

Foster collaboration between engineering, platform, and operational teams

Required Skills and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline

57+ years of experience in a similar DevOps or platform engineering role

Hands-on experience deploying and managing Kubernetes-based containerized applications, including Amazon EKS

Solid experience with Helm for Kubernetes package management and release automation

Proficient in Terraform for infrastructure-as-code in multi-cloud environments

Deep understanding of AWS services and architecture for scalable DevOps pipelines

Strong Git skills for version control and collaborative development

Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement

Strong communication skills and fluency in spoken and written English
