Operations Accountant with English Finance NER

The Accountant will be able to perform numerous activities including but not restricted to :

Intercompany activities : reconciliation invoices

Perform AP payments and Bookings

Perform Master Data Management activities for accounting systems

Perform Tax and regulatory reporting

Post accounting vouchers/ bank statements

Perform broker invoicing

Support Fixed Asset Accounting

Perform reconciliations between sub- and main-ledger

Various reconciliations for booking accounts

Accounts Receivables booking for intercompany entities

Ad hoc activities (specific to the SSC structure launch):

• Participates in the creation / update of Finance Standard Operating Procedures used by the SSC operational teams.
• Is accountable for operations accuracy and quality regarding statutory and Group rules and standards
• Participates in project work (e.g. lean & optimization topics)
• Participates to functional & cross-functional meetings (when required) and shares feedback and regular contact with NER functional finance team
• Potential evolution to other opportunities within the company

Qualifications :

• Good knowledge of accounting processes
• Good communication skills
• Good organizational skills
• Independent worker and team player
• Ability to deal with numerous deadlines simultaneously / Multi-tasking
• Familiarity and ease with varying IT and online software and applications
• Knowledge of local GAAP is a plus (Germany Netherlands Denmark Sweden)
• Basic knowledge of major internal control procedures
