Tasks
- Ensure on-time delivery to customers (end customers and intermediaries), meeting quality requirements and delivery deadlines.
- Monitors daily delivery performance, avoiding deviations and taking action to meet conditions.
- Provides logistics interface with warehouses, factories, consolidation warehouses and carriers within the EMEA Supply Chain. Acts as first point of escalation for all distribution channels.
- Identifies risks that may prevent the fulfilment of customer expectations and takes action to mitigate their impact.
- Acts as first point of escalation in incident management and complaint validation.
- Coordinates return flows in the assigned region, ensuring achievement of indicators.
- Coordinates with relevant departments within the company on operational escalations received from internal customers, ensuring timely and accurate information.
- Aprroves and coordinates special deliveries.
- Controls additional costs by investigating the reason for them and evaluates less costly alternatives.
- Identifies operational priorities with carriers during daily / weekly conference calls.
- Coordinates with carrier operations teams, sharing EG EMEA Logistics' point of view and gaining support for its initiatives.
