Accounting Manager with German

Job Description

Our client is a dynamic, expanding IT partner for German SMEs and public sector organizations, offering end-to-end solutions in IT infrastructure, security, and digital workplace management. We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our client's team and handle financial accounting that includes multiple German entities within the same group. The ideal candidate brings a solid background in HGB-based accounting, a structured and independent working style, and fluency in German, ideally complemented by ERP expertise (e.g., SAP FI, DATEV,or Microsoft Dynamics).

Key Responsibilities

• Independent preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code - HGB (German GAAP).
• Full accounting responsibility for either operational or holding-related entities.
• Handling of intercompany reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, and provisions.
• Reconciliation of general and sub-ledgers (accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger).
• Participation in internal audits and year-end audits.
• Contribution to the optimization and digitalization of accounting processes.
