Technical components for industrial and building sector
Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, the General Manager will ensure strong leadership of Country facilities in Romania , leading a team of around 25 people, building team spirit, cohesion, motivation, commitment, quality performance and fulfilment across all functions.
Main Responsibilities and Duties :
- Full responsibility for the local organisation and the team, incl. Sales, Logistics, Warehouse, Finance, HR etc.
- Set a 5-year growth plan for the local entity
- Developing and defining the companies´ strategy together with the Holding Management and executing it accordingly – main focus in Sales and Marketing
- Develop the local market, including sales development of additional / new products and team growth.
- P&L responsibility, reporting company figures, forecasting and budgeting, monitoring of contribution margin, staff planning.
- Cooperation and meetings with the Group (HQ, Marketing, Controlling, Logistic / Production, other Sales Clusters, other General Managers)
- Own sales activities (including building and developing relationship with existing and new clients).
- Coordination of daily business activities
- Development of a successful pricing strategy.
- Constructive feedback culture in all aspects towards HQ and Team
- Assess staff training and capacity building needs and ensure training opportunities are provided.
- Ensure timely and appropriate country level budget preparation and monitoring.
Requirements :
Proven experience as Managing Director, General Manager, Country Manager or other managerial position (. Country Sales Director, Branch Manager).Experience in selling technical products for the industrial and the building / infrastructure industry.Demonstrable experience in developing strategic and business plansDeep knowledge of market changes and forces that influence the companyStrong understanding of corporate finance and measures of performanceFamiliarity with corporate law and management best practicesAnalytical with high attention to detail in administrationExcellent business acumenExcellent organisational and leadership skillsExcellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skillsOutstanding analytical and problem-solving abilitiesFluency in EnglishJob location
