About the Role

We are looking for a Team Leader for the Fraud & Risk Department to oversee daily operations, guide a high-performing team, and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of fraud detection and risk management processes. This role requires strong leadership, analytical expertise, and the ability to make sound decisions in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day operations of the risk and compliance team, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.

Monitor transactions, behaviors, and activity patterns to detect risks, irregularities, or potential fraud.

Review and validate risk reports, ensuring consistency and actionable insights.

Coordinate team activities across shifts, manage escalations, and support complex decision-making.

Mentor, coach, and train team members to drive performance and skill development.

Collaborate with management to enhance workflows, tools, and procedures.

Ensure compliance with company policies and contribute to performance reviews and incentive programs.

Requirements

Fluent in English (C1 level), both written and spoken.

45 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or fraud prevention, with at least 2 years in a leadership / supervisory role.

Strong knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and operational risk management practices.

Proven leadership skills in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

High levels of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.

Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Proficiency in data analysis or visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI).

Experience managing KPIs, performance tracking, and incentive programs.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Teams, Word).

Experience in process improvement and operational optimization.

Familiarity with performance-based reward structures and employee recognition programs.
