Who we are

By joining our project, you will be working on an initiative of the European Commission focused on creating a more efficient, modern and secure customs environment within the European Union. Being part of this initiative set on a 5 years’ timeline, you will have the opportunity to work on topics such as digitalization of customs processes, streamlining customs procedures to facilitate trade and reduce costs, harmonization of customs rules across all EU member states and combating fraud.

This purposeful project will not only give you the opportunity to have an impact on one of the key topics within the European Union, it will also offer you various professional opportunities, let you experience a collaborative environment, using cutting-edge technologies and experiencing diversity in your everyday professional life.

What you'll be doing

• Design, implement, and maintain security solutions to protect the organization’s network, systems, applications, and data.
• Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify and address security weaknesses.
• Respond to and investigate security incidents, providing timely resolutions and post-incident reports.
• Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure organizational compliance with security best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor security tools (, firewalls, IDS / IPS, SIEM systems) to detect and respond to threats in real time.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security is embedded into all system development, deployment, and maintenance processes.
• Implement and manage identity and access management (IAM) solutions to ensure proper user authentication and authorization.
• Conduct regular security audits and work with internal teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities and improve system security.
• Stay updated on the latest security threats, trends, and technologies, and recommend security improvements.
• Provide guidance and training to employees on security best practices and emerging threats.
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to security policies, procedures, and system configurations.
