Construction Project Manager

We are looking for a skilled and driven Construction Project Manager (CPM) to join our Construction Department. In this role, you will be responsible for the execution of renewable energy projects from Financial Close or Ready-to-Build until Commercial Operation Date. Your mission is to ensure that projects are delivered according to set goals, specifications, and OX2's policies, instructions, and code of conduct.

As a Construction Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on onshore wind, solar PV, and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects. As OX2 expands into new markets, you will also be expected to travel to project sites beyond your home country. This role involves approximately 25% travel to project locations, along with occasional international trips for company events and training sessions. The role is based at our Bucharest office.

Your Main Responsibilities :

• Oversee project execution during the Realization and Construction phases, ensuring timelines, budget, and quality standards are met.
• Manage the construction CAPEX and project time schedule under the supervision of the Realization Project Manager.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sustainability, and environmental (HSSE) requirements.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including internal staff and external contractors.
• Engage with stakeholders such as landowners, municipalities, clients, and regulatory authorities.
• Manage contract negotiations and ensure interfaces between contracts are well-defined and coordinated.
• Identify and mitigate construction risks and update risk registers accordingly.
• Conduct regular project reporting and provide updates on budget, progress, and potential risks.
• Ensure successful project handover from Realization to Construction and later to Operations and Asset Management.
