Position : Junior Light Technician

Location : Bucharest, Romania

Employment type : Full-time

Remuneration : Base salary + bonuses.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Support the setup and operation of lighting systems in a dynamic, around-the-clock production environment to ensure consistent quality across all studio output.
Operate, monitor, and assist in maintaining lighting equipment. Collaborate with senior staff to identify and resolve technical issues as they arise.
Communicate regularly with supervisors regarding operational updates, equipment conditions, and any emerging concerns.
Ensure lighting activities meet safety regulations and industry standards. Collaborate with other technical teams to align lighting with broader production elements such as audio and video.
Assist in maintaining detailed records of lighting setups and usage. Stay informed about current trends and technologies in studio lighting.

REQUIREMENTS :

Strong proficiency in English (at least B2) in both written and spoken communication.

Prior experience working with lighting systems in live production or studio environments.

Familiarity with studio lighting equipment, control systems, and the ability to interpret light plots or technical diagrams.

Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices for lighting in live or continuous-operation environments.

Ability to respond to and assist in resolving technical issues under pressure in live settings.

Strong collaboration skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members, including senior technicians and management.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Willingness to work various shifts, including occasional nights and weekends.
