Location Romania Bucuresti Bucharest Remote vs. Office Hybrid (Remote / Office) Company Siemens Energy Organization Transformation of Industry Business Unit Electrification - Automation - Digitalization Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Experienced Professional A Snapshot of Your Day : Design and optimization of printed circuit boards (PCBs) for advanced sensing systems that integrate front-end analog electronics, EMC-critical components, and high-frequency communication outputs within a single compact unit. How You’ll Make an Impact :
- Design and layout of multi-layer PCBs for sensor-based systems with analog front-end and high-speed digital interfaces.
- Team up with electrical engineers to translate schematics into optimized PCB layouts.
- Ensure compliance with EMC / EMI standards and best practices in layout and component placement.
- Optimize signal integrity and power integrity for high-frequency communication paths (, RF, LVDS, SerDes).
- Perform design rule checks (DRC), layout-versus-schematic (LVS) checks, and prepare documentation for manufacturing.
- Work closely with mechanical engineers to ensure that mechanical constraints and thermal management are addressed.
- Support prototypes bring-up, testing, and debugging of PCB assemblies.
- Collaborate with PCB manufacturers and assembly houses to ensure manufacturability and quality
What You Bring :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.3+ years of experience in PCB layout design, preferably in sensor or RF systems.Proficiency with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or Mentor Graphics.Strong understanding of analog front-end design principles and noise-sensitive layout techniques.Experience with EMC / EMI mitigation strategies and compliance testing.Familiarity with high-speed digital design and RF layout practices.Knowledge of IPC standards and DFM / DFT principles.Experience with simulation tools for signal integrity and EMC (, HyperLynx, Ansys SIwave).Hands-on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, VNA).Understanding of sensor technologies and their electrical interfaces.Experience with rigid-flex PCB design and miniaturized electronics
