About you
Ideally, you have a global financial exposure with operational understanding and strategic experience, while hands-on finance delivery. You've spent at least the last decade building and leading finance functions across regions, balancing between IFRS and local GAAP, cross-border compliance, treasury operations, and building high-performing teams across cultures.
You're not just a numbers person. You're a partner to the business, a driver of efficiency and profitability, and a great communicator who can build bridges from the boardroom to the back office.
Location : Ideally based in Bucharest, Romania, hybrid work, ideally overlapping with multiple time zones (Europe, Asia and the Americas).

Top 5 Objectives for the First 12 Months
Develop and roll out a global financial strategy aligned with the companys multi-entity growth plans.
Centralize and consolidate financial reporting across all operating regions.
Build and mentor a high-performance, cross-border finance team.
Implement robust risk management and internal control frameworks.
Optimize international tax planning and hedging strategies for better cash management.
Key Responsibilities
Lead FP&A, treasury, tax, and controllership functions across all business units.
Drive accurate multi-entity consolidation and monthly / quarterly and annual financial reporting.
Manage transfer pricing documentation, tax structuring, and international compliance across all existing and future corporate offices.
Navigate and negotiate global banking relationships and manage currency exposure.
Spearhead digital finance initiatives (ERP, BI tools, dashboards).
Act as strategic advisor to the CEO, COO and leadership team on business expansion, M&A.
Be the cultural anchor and mentor for a global finance team working across regulatory and linguistic borders.
Requirements
5 - 7 years in FP&A, treasury, and / or accounting leadership
5 - 8 years in a senior finance leadership role
3 - 5 years as CFO or Deputy CFO in a global company
Expert in IFRS and local GAAPs (especially European)
Experience with financial reporting across multi-entity organizations
Strong knowledge of international tax strategy and FX risk
Hands-on experience in team-building and managing staff across regions
Exceptional command of English (written and verbal)
Prior work with remote, multicultural teams
