Shaping a sustainable future - What does reliable sustainability reporting look like? How can the companies prepare for the big change in corporate reporting and report transparently to stakeholders about its impact on the environment, people and society? And who ensures that the reports are correct?
Assuming responsibility – As part of our team at Forvis Mazars Sustainability consulting & assurance team, you will deal with these questions about ESG. You will work on a wide range of projects in which you can apply your knowledge and quickly develop professionally and personally. You will drive the implementation of the ESG strategy, policies and standards / regulations for our clients, supporting them in building a functional capability, knowledge and skills within their internal sustainability teams.
What will you do :
- Participate in various projects related to sustainability, such as sustainability reporting and assurance, ESG strategy development, pollution management, circular economy, environmental impact and ESG due diligence studies.
- Contribute to projects of different sizes, ensuring high-quality work delivered on time and within the assigned budget.
- Serve as an advisor in your area of specialization by providing customized input for our clients and projects.
- Build and maintain client relationships to complete specific project tasks.
- Contribute to the preparation of commercial offers developed by the Forvis Mazars Sustainability team.
- High intrinsic motivation and a passion for sustainability.
What we need from you for this job :
3-4 years of work experience focused on sustainability areas. There is flexibility to hire at different levels, depending on candidate experience.Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental related areas / Economics or other relevant technical fields, with an excellent academic record. A Master’s degree in Environmental Science / Environmental Engineering or Economics would be a plus.Knowledge of sustainability concepts.Thorough understanding of national and EU environmental regulations.Technical certification in environmental related areas (e.g., environmental management systems, sustainability reporting frameworks) would be a plus.Relevant previous work experience in ESG related areas.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Fluency in English and ability to use appropriate business and technical language to produce professional reports.What we offer
