Automotive Software Tester (remote)

What to expect:

• Test case specification and test case development under usage of established methods; input test cases for entire vehicle
• Test case automation using different automation tools
• Planning, execution and reporting of ECU (electronic control unit) tests in an automotive context with usage and set up of test benches
• Error analysis
• Project supervision according to agile and classic development processes from first product idea until series production.

What you bring along:

• Bachelor degree in vehicle engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics or comparable qualifications
• Understanding of vehicle architectures (network, functionalities)
• Knowledge of communication protocols (CAN / CAN FD, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet)
• Knowledge of automation tools: eg. EXAM is a plus
• Knowledge of programming languages; eg. Python
• Desirably ISTQB certification
• Ability to work in a team and also in an independent way of working
• Experience in MS Office Applications (Excel)
• Good communication skills
• English language is mandatory (technical requirements, test cases and comments, correspondence, meetings), German is a plus.
