About the team :

Our vision at 1&1 Shop Development is to deliver the 1&1 Online Shop to promoting and offering the range of 1&1 Products for Mobile, Broadband, IPTV and more. We commit to precision in our work for timely deliveries, high quality standards in our solutions, and agile development processes to yield the ultimate customer experience.As a full stack developer in the Online Shop Romania team your responsibility will be to become an essential contributor to the work at 1&1 Shop Development. The modern tech-stack of cloud-based Kubernetes, the fast-paced workflow and colleagues you can seriously trust is a first impression that will excite and motivate you. You take pride and responsibility for your work with a focus on implementation for both backend services and the frontend.

Main responsibilities :

Contribute to projects that have as scope new platform creation for the 1&1 Mobile and DSL eShops, based on Java 11, Spring, WebComponents and Micro-Services / Micro-Frontends
Be in charge of conceptual design, implementation, unit and integration testing of the new Micro-Services / Micro-Frontends
Assume ownership of the whole development lifecycle
Work in a distributed team

We appreciate :

Good experience with Spring (Spring Boot, WebFlux, Redis) and / or Java EE

Good experience with REST-API, Gradle

Good experience with modern JavaScript and frontend development (i.e. Angular, React, WebComponents)

CMS related experience would be a plus

Unit- and Integration tests with JUnit / Cucumber experience

Strong understanding of data structures, design patterns, concurrency, and scalability

Docker, Kubernetes experience would be a plus

Highly motivated, self-driven and interested in new scripting languages, frameworks and technologies. Deadline and detail-oriented

Good communication and collaboration skills
