QA Automation Engineer
Play a critical part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through a balanced approach of manual testing (50%) and test automation (50%). With a strong focus on collaboration and innovation you will work closely with developers and manual QA team members to design implement and improve our testing processes.
Tasks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business and technical requirements ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
- Analyze functional and non-functional requirements to design and execute both manual and automated test cases.
- Develop maintain and enhance automated test frameworks and scripts.
- Execute and analyze automated test suites identifying defects and suggesting process improvements.
- Perform manual testing for complex scenarios or where automation is not feasible.
- Document and maintain test plans test cases and test reports.
- Advocate for testing best practices and contribute to the improvement of QA processes.
- Assist in root cause analysis and collaborate with developers to debug and resolve issues.
- Support the transition from manual to automated testing by mentoring team members and promoting automation adoption.
Requirements
- 4 years in QA including 2 years in test automation
- Experience with automation tools (e.g. Playwright Cucumber)
- Familiar with MySQL/MariaDB and REST API testing
- Proficient in JavaScript or similar
- Solid understanding of SDLC and agile
- Hands-on with Git GitLab and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience using Jira Xray or similar tools
- Performance testing knowledge (JMeter K6) is a plus
- Experience with or interest in using AI development assistants such as Claude Code Cursor OpenAI Codex ect.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills
- iGaming industry experience is a plus
