Senior Front-End Developer

Description and Requirements

We are looking for an experienced front-end engineering professional to join Lenovo and help build modern cloud-based product experiences with a strong focus on usability, performance, and quality. In this role, you will translate product and design requirements into scalable, high-quality front-end solutions and collaborate with international product, design, and engineering teams. Contract type, work model, location, and any travel requirements should be aligned locally before publication.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop front-end product features based on approved product requirement documents and design specifications.
• Translate business and user requirements into clean, scalable, and high-quality front-end code.
• Partner with product managers and UI/UX designers to deliver intuitive and engaging user experiences.
• Improve product workflows and user interactions to enhance usability and overall customer experience.
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues in close collaboration with back-end and cross-functional engineering teams.
• Analyze and optimize front-end performance through modern engineering practices such as code splitting, lazy loading, and asset optimization.
• Build and enhance AI-powered user experiences, including conversational interfaces, copilots, and LLM-driven workflows.
• Contribute to stable, responsive, and cross-browser compatible interfaces that support business and technical standards.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of professional experience in front-end software development.
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern front-end framework such as React, or Angular.
• Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design principles, and modern front-end development practices.
• Experience with front-end debugging, performance optimization, build tooling, and the ecosystem, including tools such as Webpack and Git-based workflows.
• Experience working with AI/ML-powered applications, including consuming APIs and handling streaming responses in front-end environments, would be an advantage.
• Professional fluency in English is required.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional and international teams.
