Role Title: Tier 3 Technical Support Engineer - Network Management Systems

Way of working: Hybrid 2 days in office

We are seeking an experienced Tier 3 Technical Support Engineer to design, implement, monitor, and optimize network management systems. The role involves ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability of telecom or enterprise networks through effective use of NMS platforms and tools.

What you'll be responsible for?

As a Tier 3 Technical Support Engineer you will have the following responsibilities:

• Deliver Tier 3 technical support for advanced network management systems and SW applications to global customers and internal teams.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs to track network health
• Escalate issues to Ceragon developers teams
• Implement automation scripts and workflows to improve efficiency
• Support software upgrades, patches, and system enhancements
• Ensure compliance with security and operational standards
• Collaborate with internal and external technical teams throughout all project phases: presales, design, training, implementation, and operation
• Train and mentor Ceragon’s global technical teams to enhance their knowledge and capabilities.
• Travel internationally (approx. 25%) to support customers on-site and facilitate knowledge sharing.

Job Requirements

Must have:

• 5+ years of experience in technical support, technical account management, or presales roles.
• 5+ years of experience in network operations or NMS environments, including hands-on experience with NMS Windows and Linux (RedHat) platforms
• Understanding of OSS architecture and integration
• Strong background in Layer 2/Layer 3 networking
• Team player, with proven experience working with global, cross-functional teams.
• SQL Database and container/docker platform
• Fast learner with the ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Advantage:

• CCNA, CCNP or equivalent
• Advantage – degree in Electronics, Communications, or Computer Engineering.
• Advantage – experience with microwave radios installation, operation, and maintenance.
